Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in biology or a related field at the time of start.
- Experience in plant biology, molecular biology, and basic genetics.
Job Description: The individual hired for this position will conduct molecular, genetic, genomic, and biochemical studies of rice and/or Arabidopsis to unravel the role of cytokinin in growth and development. The research will contribute to the ongoing investigations in the Kieber lab, with a particular focus on phytohormones cytokinin and ethylene, as well as the regulation of plant cell wall biosynthesis.
