Post-Doc Researcher on Molecular Targets: The Institute for Biomedicine, part of Eurac Research, located at Bolzano’s NOI Techpark, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to work on molecular targets for Parkinson’s disease. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of Molecular Neurodegeneration, focusing on understanding cellular phenotypes related to Parkinson’s disease and the autophagy-lysosome pathway’s role in modulating them.
Post-Doc Researcher on Molecular Targets for Parkinson’s Disease

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.
- Operating knowledge of cell culture and sterile techniques.
- Experience in molecular and cell biology assays.
- Previous experience with microscopy and/or electrophysiology is advantageous.
- Expertise in the assessment of the neurobiology of the synapse is also advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Cell line and iPSC culture and differentiation in neurons and brain organoids.
- Molecular and cell biology experiments (ddPCR, Western blot, functional assays, confocal microscopy).
- Support in calcium imaging experiments.
- Support in electrophysiology and multi-electrode array experiments.
- Data analyses and statistics.
- Preparation of graphs, presentations, and manuscripts.
