Job Description & Key Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Conduct independent and collaborative AI research in medical imaging; develop novel ML/DL algorithms for clinical, research, and educational radiology applications.
- Model Engineering: Build, train, validate, and optimize AI/ML models utilizing CT, MRI, PET, chest X-ray, and multimodal imaging datasets.
- Data Management: Preprocess and curate large-scale clinical imaging files (DICOM, NIfTI) adhering strictly to data integrity, reproducibility, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Validation & Testing: Perform comprehensive model evaluations, external validation, robustness testing, and fairness/bias assessments.
- Publishing & Presentation: Lead manuscript preparation for high-impact peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences (e.g., RSNA, MICCAI, SIIM, ISMRM).
- Grants & Funding: Support grant proposal development by writing technical aims, preparing preliminary data, and creating methodological narratives.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior researchers, residents, and students; participate actively in laboratory meetings.
- Code & Pipeline Maintenance: Build and maintain reproducible, well-documented AI pipelines using version control and experiment tracking.
