Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in plant pathology, plant sciences, or a related area.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within three months of joining the lab.

Job Description: The incumbent will:

  • Conduct molecular biology, biochemical, microscopic, and microbial studies.
  • Develop plans and strategies for field and greenhouse experiments, collecting phenotypic data and samples.
  • Write research manuscripts, lab notes, and perform statistical and bioinformatics analysis.
  • Mentor undergraduates and present findings to stakeholders.
