Eligibility/Qualification:
Education and Expertise:
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Data Science, or related fields.
- Post-doctorate experience preferred.
- Proven track record in conducting high-quality biological or chemical research.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Design and develop small molecules, nucleic acids, and peptide therapeutics.
- Prepare and characterize nanoparticles using state-of-the-art techniques.
- Conduct cell culture and in vivo studies to evaluate therapeutic efficacy.
- Collaborate with clinical partners to obtain ethical approvals and human tissue samples.
- Contribute to grant writing activities and research dissemination efforts.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in various in-vivo tracking modalities and imaging techniques.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as LC-MS, liquid scintillation, HPLC, MS, NMR.
- Familiarity with bioinformatics and transcriptome analysis.
Administrative and Collaborative Skills:
- Manage research programs financially and administratively.
- Work independently, collaborate within a team, and supervise students.
Language and Technical Competence:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Proficient in IT skills for data management and communication within the research program.
