Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Natural or Mathematical Sciences, Environmental Science, or Engineering
- Experience in relevant research areas, including atmospheric modelling and GHG emissions
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Description:
- Collection and processing of observational satellite and ground-based data relevant to methane and other GHGs over EMME
- Application of inversion model CIF CHIMERE for regional GHG emissions analysis
- Development and validation of GHG emission inventories using ground and remote sensing data
- Presentation of research results in conferences and publications
- Contribution to research proposal preparation and project management
- Supervision and guidance of Research Assistants and Students
