Research Area: Synthetic Organic/Medicinal Chemistry, with a focus on designing novel antibrain tumor therapeutics.
Location: College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University, South Korea
Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in Synthetic Medicinal Chemistry or Organic Chemistry.
- One or two years of research experience in a pharmaceutical company is preferred.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Organic synthesis, including multi-step synthesis, compound purification, and structural characterization.
- Designing and adapting synthetic routes to obtain target compounds.
- Designing new compounds using medicinal chemistry principles, literature research, and structure-based drug design for Alzheimer’s disease and cancer.
- Focus on the design and synthesis of novel antibrain tumor therapeutics.
- Planning and independently conducting experimental procedures to meet project goals.
