Eligibility / Qualification
Post-doctoral Fellow
- Doctoral degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Multimedia Technologies, Data Science, Sports Science, Psychological Science, Occupational Science, or related fields.
- Preferably with one year of full-time post-Master’s work experience.
Senior Research Assistant
- Master’s degree in the above disciplines with one year of full-time post-Master’s work experience, or
- Doctoral degree in the relevant disciplines.
Research Assistant I
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Multimedia Technologies, Data Science, or related fields.
Research Assistant II
- At least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese, English, and Mathematics in HKDSE, or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B), and Mathematics in HKCEE, or equivalent.
- Preference for candidates with a Higher Diploma or above in related disciplines.
Job Description
General Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review, data collection, programming, data analysis, and research report drafting.
- Participate in digital system development and software framework creation.
- Provide administrative support to the research team.
- Engage in manuscript writing and contribute to international publications.
Hardware Development Position
- Design electronic circuits including PCB layout, simulation, and sensor/microwave systems.
- Program edge processors to interface with hardware components using Python and other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless hardware-software integration.
- Preference for applicants with experience in PCB layout and RF/microwave circuit design.
Software/AI Development Position
- Manage and optimize database systems for efficient data handling.
- Design mobile applications using Flutter and React Native.
- Utilize JSON for data exchange between front-end, back-end, and mobile apps.
- Implement AI technologies to enhance software functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated software systems.
- Preference for candidates familiar with object-oriented programming, AI, front-end/back-end development.
