Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Strong expertise in solid-state semiconducting devices
- Proficiency in device simulation software (e.g., Sentaurus, Silvaco, TCAD)
Job Description:
- Focus on achieving original first-authored publications in interdisciplinary academic journals.
- Conduct device modeling and (electrical and photophysical) characterization.
- Collaborate with device experts to analyze and address energy-loss and degradation mechanisms.
- Mentor and advise graduate students and research assistants.
- Contribute to grant writing and seek external funding opportunities.
Salary:
- $61,008 USD/year
