Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Functional Cell Biology: The Functional Cell Biology Laboratory led by Dr. Braga at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), Trieste, Italy invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship under external funding. The successful candidate will join an international and multidisciplinary team working on the REPAir project (REProgramming the lung to repAir) funded by Fondazione CRTrieste. The research focuses on discovering new druggable targets in respiratory diseases, with an emphasis on restoring endogenous epithelial Type II cell homeostasis in conditions such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD).
