Eligibility/Qualification
- Essential: PhD (completed or close to completion) in Applied Mathematics or Theoretical/Computational Physics, relevant to the project (e.g., statistical physics, biological physics, soft condensed matter physics, fluid mechanics).
- Experience: Publishing in journals of international standing, programming skills (e.g., Python), and strong oral/written communication capabilities.
- Desirable: Background knowledge in active matter and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, evidence of independent and collaborative research, outreach experience.
Job Description
- Conduct research on macroscopic behavior of proliferating active systems or interfacial phenomena.
- Collaborate with researchers from various institutes.
- Attend and actively participate in project and research group meetings.
- Publish research findings in reputed journals and disseminate results at seminars and conferences.
- Supervise/co-supervise undergraduate/master research projects.
- Engage in public outreach and apply for funding while adhering to university policies on equality, diversity, and inclusion.
