Research Area
Exploring gut microbiota-host interactions and their implications in health and diseases, especially inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Location
St Antoine Research Center, Sorbonne Université / Inserm, Paris, France.
Eligibility / Qualification
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related fields.
- Experience in analyzing shotgun metagenomics data and other Omics data.
- Theoretical knowledge in microbiology and/or immunology is a plus.
- Strong computer programming and scripting skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
Job Description
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team led by Pr Harry Sokol. Responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing human gut microbiota sequencing data along with transcriptomics and metabolomics data.
- Collaborating with wet lab scientists across disciplines.
- Providing expertise to team members and external collaborators.
- Independently completing data analysis and contributing to scientific manuscripts.
