Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in plant molecular biology, plant biochemistry, or plant physiology (PhD must be awarded within the last 3 years).
- Strong molecular biology lab skills.
- Experience in metabolomics and/or metabolic flux analysis is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English.
- Published PhD research in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
Job Description:
- Conduct research on metabolic fluxes leading to wood formation using advanced sequencing and isotope techniques.
- Collaborate with research groups at UPSC, the University of Copenhagen, and the University of Helsinki.
- Integrate personal research interests within the CarbonTree project.
- Utilize state-of-the-art analytical platforms, unique tree germplasm resources, and plant growth facilities.
- Participate in a collaborative and supportive research environment.
