Post-doctoral Position in Engrams Connectivity: ICFO is seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join the Super-resolution Light Microscopy & Nanoscopy (SLN) Research Facility. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research on exploring the connectivity and plasticity properties of Working Memory engrams by combining single-cell optogenetics and calcium imaging in ex vivo slices of the mouse anterolateral frontal cortex.

Eligibility/Qualification:
Candidates must hold, or be about to obtain, an internationally recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree in Physics, Engineering, Biophysics, Biophotonics, or a relevant field. The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience working with optical setups.
- Proficiency in hardware control and programming.
- Interest in advanced microscopy techniques.
- Interest in life sciences and neurobiology.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and researchers.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to independently manage project implementation.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Job Description:

- Conduct research in volumetric imaging for assessing engram connectivity.
- Develop and apply advanced microscopy techniques.
