Eligibility/Qualification:
Candidates must hold or be close to completing a Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or related fields. Proven experience in the following areas is required:
- Experimental work involving laser speckle statistics
- Device design and construction
- Optical engineering and software development
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the development of next-generation SCOS systems, exploring novel approaches with new sources and detectors
- Collaborate with teams in the USA (Washington University St. Louis, UT Southwestern), Italy (Milan, Padova), and locally with INEFC
- Work in a multidisciplinary environment fostering collaboration and scientific innovation
The position is funded by MCIN/AEI and the European Union “NextGenerationEU”/PRTR. Salaries will be based on experience and tasks, aligned with national and international standards (Ramon-y-Cajal and Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowships). Contracts are offered for 1 year, renewable.
