Job Description: The post-doctoral researcher will be part of a multidisciplinary project aiming to create novel decontamination devices using biocompatible scavengers. The research will focus on the design and synthesis of enzyme mimic, particularly functional Molecular Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) with programmed specific catalytic transformations. The candidate will be involved in the synthesis of various supramolecular assemblies to enhance substrate recognition. Following characterization, the MIPs will be evaluated for their efficiency against different substrate models.
Candidates Profile: The ideal candidate should possess a Ph.D. in organic chemistry with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. Proficiency in macromolecular chemistry and experience in separation and purification by HPLC will be advantageous. A keen interest in the chemistry-biology interface is preferred.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their detailed CV with references to the following email address:

Last Date for Apply: The deadline for application submission is [Insert Last Date].
Note: Recruitment is conditional on the necessary official security clearance.
Context and Objectives: The research project aims to develop new decontamination devices made of mid and biocompatible scavengers. The approach involves a unique biomimetic strategy utilizing enzyme mimicry through functional Molecular Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) with specific catalytic transformations. Various supramolecular assemblies will be investigated to optimize substrate recognition and efficiency. The project promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and contributes to the strategic axes of the regional pole CBSB (Chemistry, Biology, Health, and Wellbeing). The UMR 6014 COBRA is integrated into the regional research landscape and offers a stimulating environment for cutting-edge research in organic chemistry.
We encourage talented researchers with a passion for innovative research to apply for this exciting Post-Doctoral position and contribute to advancing the field of organic chemistry and decontamination materials.
