Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on the synthesis of organocatalytic molecules, which will be introduced onto oligonucleotides to develop DNA-based proteases. The research aims to explore prebiotic chemistry models based on nucleic scaffolds for depolymerization steps. Key responsibilities include:
- Synthesizing functionalized oligonucleotides
- Evaluating catalytic properties in coacervates within a systems chemistry framework
- Utilizing advanced chemistry lab facilities, including DNA synthesizers and chromatography platforms
- Collaborating with academic partners from LCPO and CRPP in Bordeaux
- Contributing to scientific publications and presentations
