Post-doctoral Position in Design and Testing of THz Detectors
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics, Terahertz (THz) Detectors, Graphene-based Receivers
Location: ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences, Spain
Eligibility/Qualification:
Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future), preferably in Physics or Engineering. The candidate should have a proven track record of graphene-based detectors and data communications applications.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be joining the Quantum Nano-Optoelectronics group led by Prof. Dr. Frank Koppens. The candidate will design graphene-based terahertz receivers and evaluate speed and bit transfer rate. The research is funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and the “European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR.”
