Eligibility/Qualification:
Applicants must hold or anticipate receiving a Ph.D. in Computer Science or EE/ECE with a focus on machine learning applied to natural language processing, computer vision, or related areas. Strong publication records and programming skills in TensorFlow and/or PyTorch are preferred. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Job Description:
The post-doctoral researcher will actively contribute to NLP+ML projects, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, collaborate with AI faculty in the department, and potentially teach courses. The successful candidate will have the autonomy to drive research initiatives aligned with the lab’s scope, including multimodal+embodied semantics, human-like language generation and Q&A/dialogue, and interpretable and generalizable deep learning.
