Eligibility/Qualifications
- Hold a PhD (or near completion) in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline
- Good working knowledge of EEG data analysis, imaging or signal processing methods
- Experience in machine learning methods
- Research experience and/or publications in relevant journals
- Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, Julia, or another relevant language
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to work in a team and conduct overnight recordings
Job Description
The Post-doctoral Research Associate in Neuroimaging and Neuromodulation will work in Dr Ines Violante’s Research Group at King’s College London. Responsibilities include data analysis, leading data collection (including sleep data), and travel to other study sites for investigations. The role involves EEG, brain stimulation, and MRI techniques to explore the interplay between spatial and temporal dynamics of cortical-hippocampal dialogue during sleep in humans. This is a full-time position based at St Thomas’ Hospital with some data collection at the Surrey Sleep Research Centre.
