Post-Doctoral Research Associate Scholarship, University of Kent, UK

Postdoctoral Position in UK United Kingdom

Post-Doctoral Research Associate Scholarship: The project aims to lay the groundwork for comprehensive research addressing the interconnectedness of pensions, health, and care in old age. By collaborating with both academic and non-academic experts across diverse fields, the project seeks to construct a novel conceptual framework and analytical tools. It will examine public perceptions of these support systems and explore attitudes towards various combinations of features. The study will also analyze how individual life choices, such as family planning, savings, and long-term care insurance, affect the overall sustainability of these systems. The project team will develop a pilot theoretical model to evaluate policy options and their effects on intra- and inter-generational inequality, informed by existing literature and a range of research methods.
