IISER Pune, Maharashtra, India invites application for Post-doctoral Research Associate Position in IISER from eligible and interested candidates

About- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high-quality science education and research in the country.

Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having an excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following position purely on a temporary and contractual basis under the funded project.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Minimum educational  Qualification

Ph.D. in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics with specialization in Optical Spectroscopy of 2D materials

	Candidate who have submitted thesis may also apply.
Preference	Candidates with proven experience in Faraday/Kerr spectroscopy and/or Ellipsometry are preferred   Good publication record in these areas is necessary.

Funding Agency	I-Hub Quantum Technology Foundation
Tenure of the appointment	Initially for a period of one yearextendable for further period subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.
Consolidated emoluments per month	Chanakya Post-Doctoral Fellow Rs. 80,000/-  Senior Research Fellow (SRF): रु. 60,000/- For Candidates who have submitted thesis for Ph.D. in the relevant areas but not completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree).

Upper age limit as on last date of application

35 years Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.
