Eligibility/Qualification

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or related fields
  • Demonstrated research experience in protein biochemistry and cell biology
  • At least 1-2 first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, fluorescence microscopy, and cell culture
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field

Job Description

The postdoctoral position will involve:

  • Conducting research on the phase separation properties of transcription factors in pancreatic cancer.
  • Generating and validating GFP-tagged constructs.
  • Performing high-resolution microscopy to study protein dynamics in various pancreatic cancer cell lines.
  • Employing quantitative analysis to understand condensate formation and its relationship to gene regulation.
  • Working independently on research development, manuscript preparation, and grant writing under the supervision of Dr. Chandra.
  • Engaging in innovative research that bridges phase separation biology and cancer progression with potential therapeutic implications.
