Eligibility / Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering, or related fields.

  • At least 1-2 first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques, fluorescence microscopy, and cell culture.

Job Description

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will:

  • Conduct research under the supervision of Dr. Chandra.
  • Characterize biomolecular condensate formation and its role in various cancers, especially pancreatic cancer.
  • Generate and validate GFP-tagged constructs.
  • Perform high-resolution microscopy to study protein dynamics in pancreatic cancer cell lines.
  • Apply quantitative analysis to examine the relationship between condensate formation and gene regulation.
  • Engage in independent research development, manuscript preparation, and grant writing.
