Post-Doctoral Research Fellow: Mechanical Engineering: The University of Memphis is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the role of Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with Prof. Ranganathan Gopalakrishnan and his research group in a collaborative environment to develop commercial prototypes based on a patented ultrasonic powder dispersion method.

- Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or applied physics related to powder technology

- Advanced ABDs may be considered if degree completion is imminent by the start date
- Job Description: The postdoctoral associate will work with Prof. Ranganathan Gopalakrishnan and his research group to conceive experiments, conduct research, and analyze data for the development of commercial prototypes. The ideal candidate should have a strong record of publication in areas related to aerosol or powder technology, a keen interest in translational research, and a desire to pursue prototype development related to the patented ultrasonic powder dispersion technology. Additionally, the candidate should have an interest in working in a lab environment and contributing to the preparation of competitive funding proposals for technology commercialization.
