The Hatter Cardiovascular Institute (HCI), part of UCL’s Institute of Cardiovascular Science, invites applications for two full-time Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions. Eligibility/Qualification

  • Experience in supervising PhD students or involvement in academic research teams is advantageous

Job Description

The successful candidates will participate in research focused on a novel, direct intracellular activator of PI3Kα (UCL-TRO-1938) developed by our research team. This compound has shown potential in significantly reducing cardiac and cerebral injuries. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting experimental research in the lab
  • Supervising PhD students
  • Attending and participating in weekly group research meetings and seminars
  • Opportunities to present research findings at national and international conferences
  • Engaging in various training courses offered by UCL
