Eligibility/Qualification:
- A Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.

- Strong background in viscoelastic and viscoplastic modeling.
- Excellent research skills and ability to work independently.
- Competence in integrating software for solids mechanics models.
- Ability to engage with industry partners for knowledge exchange activities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on a UKRI-funded project, Mor-Neidr, concentrating on developing experimentally validated computational models for soft polymers. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting independent research and developing new experimental setups for viscoelastic polymers.
- Merging computational frameworks for Solids Mechanics and Fluid Mechanics.
- Collaborating closely with project leaders and industry partners.
- Developing a new test rig for soft material components.
