Job Description
The Post-Doctoral Researcher will engage in the mathematical modeling of ion electrodiffusion near excitable cell membranes. Key responsibilities include:
- Investigating nonlinear partial differential equations within the context of biological systems.
- Re-examining existing asymptotic analyses and extending them to include previously neglected phenomena.
- Introducing ion flows through cell membranes in relation to Hodgkin and Huxley membrane currents.
- Analyzing scale differences in neurobiology and cardiology across spatial and temporal dimensions.
- Contributing to scientific communication through publications and participation in academic events.
