- Knowledge of horse evolution and domestication is a plus
Job Description:
The successful candidate will contribute to the ERC HorsePower project, aimed at understanding the domestication and historical significance of horses in the development of ancient empires in Mongolia and China. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting computational analyses of ancient and modern horse genomic data
- Collaborating with an international team of archaeologists, zoologists, and anthropologists
- Preparing research articles and contributing to collective project publications
- Engaging in an international, collaborative research environment

Context of Work: The research will be conducted within the ERC SyG HorsePower project, co-directed by Ludovic Orlando and involving three other European laboratories.
