Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Bioinformatics or related field.
- Background in engineering, mathematics, or life sciences.
- Experience in academic or private research, preferably in cardiovascular research.
- Knowledge in molecular biology applied to cardiology, or cardiovascular physiology is a plus.
- Experience in research related to molecular biology and metabolism is desired.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will contribute to the MONDRIAN project with the following responsibilities:
- Manage and quality-control multimodal data acquisition, including storage and querying from various public or private databases.
- Analyze and interpret demographic, medical, and biological data using statistical and bioinformatics methods.
- Focus on strategies for biomarker selection.
- Select and train machine learning algorithms to estimate the risk of recurrence of atrial fibrillation post catheter ablation at 6 months and 1 year.
