Post-doctoral Researcher in Cell Fate: A post-doctoral position is available in Antoine Zalc’s team at the Cochin Institute, Paris, France, to discover the spatiotemporal origin and identity of cells contributing to craniofacial bone regeneration using intravital imaging with single-cell multi-omics.

Eligibility/Qualification: Ph.D. in life sciences, developmental biology, or cell biology, good knowledge of mouse experimentation, bone development, and regeneration, experience in mouse surgery or intravital imaging, curious, motivated, and inventive researchers are encouraged to apply.

Job Description:

The post-doctoral researcher will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research on the spatiotemporal origin and identity of cells contributing to craniofacial bone regeneration using intravital imaging with single-cell multi-omics.
  • Analyzing data, preparing manuscripts for publication, and presenting research findings at conferences.
  • Collaborating with other members of the team and other research groups within the Cochin Institute.
  • Contributing to the development of new research ideas and projects.

The Cochin Institute is a multidisciplinary biomedical research center located in central Paris, France, with state-of-the-art genomics, bioinformatics, cytometry, histology, and imaging core facilities. It provides an excellent environment for completing the project.
