Job Description
The main goal of this project is to improve steel recycling and minimize reliance on primary iron through optimized steel processing. The post-doctoral researcher will explore the impact of impurities and cocktail effects on processing, developing strategies to mitigate the negative influences of trace elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both experimental and theoretical research.
- Co-supervise graduate students and collaborate with PhD students.
- Participate in departmental teaching activities.
- Publish scientific articles and present research findings at international conferences.
- Plan and manage your research project independently.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- High-quality publications and a quality PhD thesis.
- An interest in sustainability and circularity in materials science.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; proficiency in a Scandinavian language is advantageous.
