Job Description
- Drive independent research, including the development and execution of field and laboratory experiments.
- Perform advanced data analysis, including statistical modeling and fungal community analysis.
- Collaborate with the internal project group and external partners.
- Prepare and publish high-quality scientific papers.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: PhD in fungal ecology, mycology, microbiology, biology, or a related field (ideally awarded within the last three years).
- Technical Skills: Experience with microbial/fungal ecology, field/lab experiments, genomics/transcriptomics, and multivariate statistical modeling.
- Assets: Programming skills (R or Python), experience with fieldwork, and a driving license.
- Competencies: Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, strong collaborative ability, independence, and scientific accuracy.
