The successful candidate will contribute to research on nanomaterials, self-assembly, and collective phenomena, funded by the ERC Starting Grant “Prometheus: Engineering of Superfluorescent Nanocrystal Solids.”

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Education: PhD or equivalent international degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related disciplines, completed no more than three years prior to the employment decision (or earlier under special circumstances).
- Language Skills: Very good proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Experience: Documented experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Colloidal nanocrystal synthesis and characterization
- Optical spectroscopy, including construction and use of optical setups
- Scattering methods (X-rays, neutrons), experimental design, and diffraction data analysis
- Coding Skills: Experienced in coding for data analysis and interpretation.
Job Description:
- Conduct research within the subject area of nanomaterials and collective properties.
- Communicate and disseminate research findings.
- Supervise degree projects and doctoral students.
- Engage in administrative tasks related to research duties.
- Participate in a three-week training program in higher education teaching and learning (up to 20% of working hours may be devoted to teaching).
