Eligibility / Qualification

  • A PhD degree in Theoretical Physics by the start date of the position.
  • Prior experience in computing and automating the evaluation of multi-loop scattering amplitudes and integrals.
  • Fluent in English and able to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Capability to promote research through publications and oral presentations.

Job Description

The post-doctoral researcher will engage in:

  1. Computing scattering amplitudes and expressing form-factors as linear combinations of master integrals using the Integration-By-Parts (IBP) technique.
  2. Computing the necessary master integrals using various techniques, including the differential equation approach to avoid spurious singularities.
  3. Conducting phenomenological NNLO studies to assess scale uncertainties and compare theoretical predictions with experimental data.

The role includes attending conferences and workshops to present project results.
