Eligibility / Qualification
- A PhD degree in Theoretical Physics by the start date of the position.
- Prior experience in computing and automating the evaluation of multi-loop scattering amplitudes and integrals.
- Fluent in English and able to work collaboratively in a team.
- Capability to promote research through publications and oral presentations.
Job Description
The post-doctoral researcher will engage in:
- Computing scattering amplitudes and expressing form-factors as linear combinations of master integrals using the Integration-By-Parts (IBP) technique.
- Computing the necessary master integrals using various techniques, including the differential equation approach to avoid spurious singularities.
- Conducting phenomenological NNLO studies to assess scale uncertainties and compare theoretical predictions with experimental data.
The role includes attending conferences and workshops to present project results.
