Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctoral degree in biological sciences or related fields
  • Fieldwork experience involving vertebrate animals
  • Ability to analyze data and publish in peer-reviewed journals
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Description:

  • Plan and execute a study on the efficacy of rodent-targeted vaccines against tick-borne diseases
  • Supervise undergraduate technicians
  • Participate in fieldwork activities including bait station deployment, small mammal trapping, and tick collection
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data
  • Attend laboratory meetings, seminars, and scientific conferences
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation and grant applications
