Job Description:
- Conduct research on the ecology of marine picocyanobacteria in the Bluewater Lab
- Utilize a range of research methods, including lab work, genomic analysis, bioinformatics, and potentially oceanographic field work and/or SCUBA diving
- Collaborate with the research team, including graduate students, undergraduates, and the PI
- Mentor other lab members and contribute to their professional development
- Prepare publications and present research findings at professional meetings
- Contribute to the lab’s long-term research goals and potentially explore new research avenues
