Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Chemistry (or expected soon).
  • Experience in organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, and physical organic chemistry is required.

Job Description:
The appointee will collaborate with Professor Christopher Hunter and a multidisciplinary team to:

  • Develop molecular systems for high fidelity template replication of molecular information.
  • Synthesize oligomeric templates and optimize templating processes.
  • Undertake kinetic and mechanistic analysis of reaction pathways.
  • Conduct organic synthesis of building blocks and templates.
  • Characterize the three-dimensional structures of adducts.
  • Supervise and train postgraduate and undergraduate students.
  • Prepare oral presentations, internal reports, and draft publications.
