Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry (or expected soon).
- Experience in organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, and physical organic chemistry is required.
Job Description:
The appointee will collaborate with Professor Christopher Hunter and a multidisciplinary team to:
- Develop molecular systems for high fidelity template replication of molecular information.
- Synthesize oligomeric templates and optimize templating processes.
- Undertake kinetic and mechanistic analysis of reaction pathways.
- Conduct organic synthesis of building blocks and templates.
- Characterize the three-dimensional structures of adducts.
- Supervise and train postgraduate and undergraduate students.
- Prepare oral presentations, internal reports, and draft publications.
