Post-Doctorate in Geochemistry: The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is offering a Post-Doctorate position in Geochemistry within the GeoTrac team of the Archives and Tracers theme. This position is part of the ERC-StG AGROCHRONO project focusing on the development of agropastoralism in the Indo-Iranian border regions.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Completed or nearing completion of a PhD in geochemistry, analytical chemistry, environmental, or archaeological sciences.
  • Expertise in organic matter analysis, particularly in molecular and isotopic analyses.
  • Proficiency in scientific English for publication in international peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will conduct geochemical analyses of organic matter from archaeological and environmental matrices using molecular and isotopic approaches. Responsibilities include managing databases, performing molecular and isotopic analyses, studying preservation methods, establishing modern references, data processing, interpretation, and research dissemination.
