Eligibility/Qualification:
- Postdoc Position:
- PhD in all science and engineering disciplines, especially Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- Candidates with an experimental background, particularly in microfluidics, are encouraged to apply.
- Self-motivated candidates with a strong publication record are preferred.
- Ph.D. Position:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science and engineering, especially Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- Self-motivated candidates with a strong foundation in the field are preferred.
- Prior research experience or publications in experiment or simulation are desirable but not mandatory.
Job Description:
- For Postdoc:
- Develop independent research projects while mentoring student research.
- Actively contribute to publishing results in high-impact journals.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary research in areas related to energy, environment, and healthcare applications.
- For Ph.D. Candidates:
- Engage in experimental and/or computational research in fluid mechanics, microfluidics, and soft matter.
- Contribute to the design and execution of research projects.
- Gain experience in advanced research methodologies and contribute to academic publications.

About Prof. Xiaoyu Tang:
Prof. Tang holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Thermal Engineering from Tsinghua University.
