Job Description:
The selected candidate will engage in research related to the electron-ion collider currently under construction at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Responsibilities include:
- Participation in the design of an electromagnetic calorimeter.
- Testing readout electronics designed for this detector at the OMEGA laboratory.
- Simulation of the detector and contributions to the next technical design report for the ePIC detector.
- Optional participation in ongoing analysis of heavy ion data from the CMS at the LHC.
