Eligibility/Qualification:
- Doctorate degree in polymer science, biophysics, or related fields
- Experience with computational modeling tools, emphasizing Molecular Dynamics engines
- Expertise in sophisticated MD techniques, force field parametrization, enhanced thermodynamics/kinetic methods, multi-scale (quantum, all atom, coarse-grained), and analysis
- Experience using machine learning libraries, data processing, and interpretation
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for predicting physicochemical parameters for the development of innovative PEO-based polymers. This includes manufacturing nanoparticles through bioconjugate chemistry, molecular self-assembly, and purification techniques. The role involves collaborating with both internal R&D and external contract manufacturing organizations. The Postdoc is expected to work independently and communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team.
