POSTDOC FOR ELECTRON CRYSTALLOGRAPHY: DESY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Postdoc for the development and application of novel methods for electron crystallography. The successful candidate will support an innovative project aimed at turning patented ideas at DESY into marketable products, while working within the Coherent Imaging Group at DESY’s location in Hamburg.

Research Area:

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in physics, molecular biology, or a related field.
- Experience in conducting research and development projects.

- Strong communication skills and persuasiveness.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
Job Description:
The Postdoc will be responsible for collaborative research in an interdisciplinary field, developing and testing prototypes of sample holders for electron crystallography, participating in crystallography measurements and data analysis, disseminating results through presentations and publications, and conducting market analyses and identifying business opportunities.
