Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting biological conversion of CO2 to acetic acid in Trickle Bed Reactors.
- Kinetic characterization of microbial groups involved in CO2 fermentation.
- Participating in a couple of months’ external stay at the industrial partner’s facilities.
- Communicating research findings to academia and industry partners.
- Collaborating with colleagues across various disciplines.
- Co-supervising undergraduate and master’s students.
- Drafting and submitting research manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.
Eligibility/Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- A PhD degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
- Experience with anaerobic microbial cultures and bioreactor operation.
- A documented background in gas fermentation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
