Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Analyze data from krill fishing operations.
- Explore potential impacts of the krill fishery on krill populations.
- Utilize empirical approaches and simulation models to assess various fishing scenarios, including:
- Environmental changes (e.g., temperature)
- Shifting population dynamics of major krill predators (e.g., whales, penguins, seals)
- Different fishing pressures on krill stages (e.g., juveniles, gravid females)
- Analyze hydroacoustic data to characterize seasonal krill flux.
