Postdoc in biomass: The Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to drive a project focused on biomass-derived saccharide derivatives for use as plasticizers in starch-based bioplastics. The project, initiated through the Green Transition national initiative, aims to establish structure-function relationships through enzymatic reactions and small-scale production. The successful candidate will join the group of Prof. Lo Leggio at the Department of Chemistry, collaborating closely with Prof. Blennow’s group in starch research. The position is available for a minimum of 2 years, up to 27 months depending on salary scale and starting date.
