Postdoc in Cancer Metabolism: The Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Postdoc position in the field of pancreatic cancer metabolism. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, or cancer biology.
- Experience in flow cytometry, mouse models of cancer, and data analysis is desirable.
- Fluent in oral and written English with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description: As a Postdoc in pancreatic cancer metabolism, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting independent research of high international quality, leading to publications.
- Performing cell culture, including cancer and immune cell culture/co-culture techniques.
- Analyzing gene and protein expression in cell and tissue lysates.
- Conducting animal experimentation, including tumor cell injection, dosing, and tissue harvests.
- Utilizing immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry techniques.
- Assisting in proteomics sample preparation and data analysis.
- Contributing to manuscript preparation and ideally fellowship applications.
- Supervising a junior scientist in the lab.
- Presenting research findings at meetings, conferences, or workshops.
