Job Description:
The postdoctoral researcher will investigate the scaling behavior of interconnects crucial for the assembly of microelectronic components. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with a team of PhD and postdoc researchers.
- Designing, fabricating, and characterizing novel interconnects.
- Addressing challenges in metallurgy, reproducible fabrication, and property modeling.
- Working alongside academic and industrial scientists to develop next-generation assembly technologies that enhance speed and sustainability of chip production.
The successful candidate will benefit from a collaborative research environment with state-of-the-art facilities at the Electronic Components, Technology and Materials (ECTM) section of the Department of Microelectronics.
