Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Bio-engineering, or a related field
- Strong publication record, with at least one first-author publication (accepted or submitted)
- Programming experience in Python and R
- Experience with machine learning (Tensorflow/Keras/PyTorch) is a plus
- Familiarity with software containers and/or NextFlow is advantageous
- Strong analytical, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Interest in multidisciplinary and multicultural collaboration
- Teaching experience is preferred
Job Description
The incumbent will:
- Employ computational strategies to analyze gene regulatory mechanisms that impact cellular identity in human diseases
- Analyze bulk, single-cell, spatial, and multi-omics datasets
- Lead research projects and support grant applications and research activities within the group
- Collaborate with internal and external partners
- Participate in teaching activities as required
