Postdoc in Conducting Hydrogels, Linköping University, Sweden

Study in Sweden

Postdoc in Conducting Hydrogels: Linköping University (LiU) is seeking applications for the position of Postdoc in Soft Electronics with a focus on Nanomaterial-based Stretchable Conducting Hydrogels. This opportunity is based at the Department of Science and Technology, Campus Norrköping. Join our internationally renowned Soft Electronics group, led by Senior Associate Prof. Klas Tybrandt, as we pioneer research in the development of ultra-soft nanomaterial-based stretchable conducting hydrogels for neural interface applications.

Designation: Postdoc

Research Area: The postdoc will be an integral part of the Soft Electronics group within the Laboratory of Organic Electronics (LOE). Our research spans composite materials, design concepts, and devices for soft and deformable electronic systems. Specifically, we focus on bioelectronics, neural interfaces, stretchable (semi)conductors, energy harvesting/storage, and actuators. For more information, visit LOE’s research page.

Location: Department of Science and Technology, Campus Norrköping, Linköping University, Sweden

Eligibility/Qualification: To qualify for this postdoc position, candidates must hold a doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. The degree should be awarded no later than the point at which LiU makes its decision to employ the candidate. A background in materials science, nanoscience, material chemistry, chemistry, or related fields is desirable. Nanomaterial experience is considered a merit. Proficiency in English is crucial, given that research at LOE is predominantly conducted in English.
